Navigate to settings and enter IP address of the router installed on your vessel and enter port you just configured. Navigate back to any screen within Navigator. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Requirements<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Classic path:<\/strong> Router with port forwarding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>4G\/5G Router:<\/strong> Port forwarding is straightforward; mobile hotspots (with CGNAT) usually block it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Static IP:<\/strong> Needed for port forwarding; standard SIMs use dynamic IPs, so a <strong>Fixed IP SIM<\/strong> is recommended.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>SmartMyBoat does not provide support for port forwarding setup.
